Today – July 1 – is David Prowse’s birthday. I have a signed photograph from him up on my wall.
Just a month or so after I got this, Mr. Prowse announced that he was retiring from signing and attending shows. I guess that makes this among some of the last pictures he personalized before retiring.
The inscription says “To Simon. The Empire needs you. Darth Vader. Dave Prowse.”
